Op 26 maart 2010 is Jos Stelling in Armenië benoemd tot Honouble Professor van de Universiteit van Yerevan. Hem werd het certificaat uitgereikt door de rector, Rahrachya Gasparyan:

’to award the world-known filmmaker JOS STELLING with the Title of HONOURABLE PROFESSOR of Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography, according to the solution N04 of the Institute Scientific Council from March 22, 2010.’
